Adr Ranking 10/7/2016

10/7/2016

1. Matthew Wendling (56) - Matthew Wendling Matthew has not only been drilling for more than 10 years, he has excelled in regulation, teaching and of course, winning 2 World Championships with different routines that reflect him, and the strive for perfection that he is known for. - Noah Calvert

2. Samuel Gozo (54) - The new Texas resident has made a Stone Cold style entrance into the Lone Star State, kicking ass and taking names at the Lone Star Championships declaring the throne as his. Making WDC podium since 2011 (exception 2013), his recent 3rd place performance at WDC, along with his involvement with TXDC and his Lone Star 2016 destruction, Mr. “No Average Go Savage” has gone complete AniMode taking first place on our charts this month. - Andrew Schuster

3. Michael Renn (49) - This Fern Creek Alumn may have won 2 WDC's but comes short because it was basically the same routine he always uses. From another perspective, why fix it if it isnt broke? With that being said, he has proven himself as a threat with his perfect execution and precision power stops. - Noah Calvert

4. Chris Haley (48) - Mr. Christopher Royce Haley well deserves this spot as number four on our chart this month. His involvement with Street Elite has seemed to bring him to an even higher level than he has been. His past championships win in the tandem category with TVK as well as his recent placements and involvement with MSgt. Ybarra has made Roy Boy a fan favorite. Beware of his infamous arm and leg tricks for they may look easy, but one wrong move and it all goes wrong. We see you creeping your way up, Mr. Haley, what do you have next for us? - Andrew Schuster

5. Andres Ryan (46) - Always a great challenger who has been near impossible to stop in previous years. Only this low because of his injury on his left hand. - Justice Felton

6. Tyler Van Keuren (38) - Tyler is the definition of a "Texas" driller. Not only did he leave the crowd in aw at the 2016 WDC. Within an unexpected drop, it sadly left him out of the medal round.  After he gets over the most recent injury, he can easily be the next world champion. - Noah Calvert

7. Alejandro Paulino (29) - “The Flash” has placed in spot number 7 on our charts this month. Although he may have been de-throned in both ODC and the Lone Star Championships as “King”, his performance at WDC placing second in tandem with Mr. Fong Thao has not gone unnoticed. FTA Sponsored Athlete and Sin City Driller has lit up social media, freaking people out with his super human speed and incredible agility and strength. - Andrew Schuster

8. Chris Scanlan (27) - Dark Horse of WDC 2016, total beast helping blow up the drill scene in Ohio. Balancing college, ROTC, and improving in drill, Scanlan should not go unrecognized. - Justice Felton

9. Cameron Arroyo (25) - This young driller based out of San Antonio Tx. Is always expected to place top 3 at any given competition. His drill isnt flashy or crazy in the least. But it doesnt need to be. His Silver Eagle fundamentals speak for themselves. Every time he steps on the drill deck. - Noah Calvert

10. Robert Zyko (22) - Unfortunately could not attend WDC at the last minute, but most likely would have made at least the medals round. Overall great driller with one of the widest trick vocabs in the community. - Justice Felton

11. Chris Revetta (20)- Finished the 2016 drill season with one of the best high school solos ever seen. Near completion of Army Infantry Training and will be back within the drill scene. - Justice Felton

12. Antoni Plocica (15) - Still racking up the trophies after making medals round in 2015. Just took first at the Tournament of Champions in his hometown of San Antonio, and is only improving. - Justice Felton

13. Andrew Grove (9) - Andrew Grove may have only graduated in 2014, but he can easily stand up to the seasoned drill veterans. His perfect routines have not only seated him at 5th place this year, it has also seated him at 6th WITH a drop in 2015. Will he make a come back in a couple years? - Noah Calvert

14. Adam Jeup (8) - The man himself, Mr. Independent Drill Adam Jeup is off to Coast Guard Basic Training where we wish him the best of luck. His WDC was absolutely insane, and if you missed it, you'll never see anything like it. Adam going first is something you definitely want to be there for, trust us. His tutorials have helped many drillers and we have to say he may be one of the most famous drillers in the community. “Adam Jeup from Youtube” has always been an innovative driller, turning heads with his performances. We hope you do great and cannot wait to see you back Adam! - Andrew Schuster

15. Bryson Valdez (7) - Bryson Valdez, known as an upcoming star in the drill community has finally switched over to bladed drill. His influenced street style of drill has placed him in multiple online competitions leaving with hardware. Placing 5th at NHSDTC, Bryson has been one of the many invited competitors to WDC 2017. He recently placed 3rd in the Drill Warrior Championship proudly representing MassDrill. - Andrew Schuster
